This clear affiliate disclosure explains how Morocco Traveler Guide earns referral revenue through trusted booking partners while upholding total editorial independence.
Our Transparent Affiliate Disclosure Policy
Morocco Traveler Guide is an independent travel publication dedicated to providing reliable, research-backed advice for international travelers. To support our ongoing field research, server infrastructure, and editorial updates, our website participates in selected affiliate marketing programs. Under this affiliate disclosure, we clarify how these relationships work in full compliance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines and international consumer protection standards.
How Affiliate Links Function
When you browse our destination guides and click on certain outbound links—such as bookings for certified riads, guided mountain excursions, train ticket consolidators, or car rental platforms—the partner merchant may place a secure tracking cookie on your browser. If you subsequently complete a booking or purchase, we may receive a modest referral commission at zero additional expense to you.
The price you pay remains exactly the same whether you use our link or navigate directly to the vendor’s website. In many instances, our established affiliate relationships enable us to highlight exclusive traveler discounts and promotional rates.
Uncompromising Editorial Independence
We believe commercial considerations must never compromise editorial integrity. We adhere to the following strict principles across all published content:
- Merit-Based Recommendations: We only recommend hotels, transportation operators, and tour providers that meet rigorous standards for safety, quality, and fair pricing.
- No Sponsored Favoritism: We never accept payment to inflate a review score, feature a subpar establishment, or alter negative feedback.
- Equal Research Weight: We frequently recommend free attractions, public transit lines like ONCF Trains, and budget street food stalls that provide zero financial return to our site.
For additional details regarding our fact-checking procedures, please review our Editorial Standards and read our Privacy Policy. Should you have any questions regarding our partnerships, feel free to contact our team.
